The New Year's Eve InfiniteWishes Workshop and Bali Spa Retreat

We left LAX on Boxing Day, late in the evening flying on China Air. The airport was very busy, a little chaotic, but, it was all good because it was the beginning of our adventure to Bali. We flew to Taiwan, had a bite to eat at the airport and 5 hours later, we were in Indonesia!

Made, our good friend and driver picked us up at the airport. We all piled in to 2 cars, wide-eyed, a little tired and filled with anticipation.

Randall, Lela and Nik, of the Taksu Spa, were there to greet us at the Adi Cottages. I was green from sitting in the backseat and happy to finally arrive at our destination. Immediately upon our arrival, Randall sent body workers to our hotel rooms where we each had a reflexology treatment for over an hour! Pure Bliss.

As a matter of fact, one GREAT learning from Randall that has forever changed me is the following: “We all must be aware of our Bliss Tolerance”, or as I have said related to this, “we all must feel that we DESERVE to receive”. One of MANY learnings over the next 8 days!

I was in Atlanta recently to attend a wedding, and for me, it was a wonderful opportunity to finally meet Ann Lombardi!

A few months back, when we were planning our New Year’s Eve Intention Setting Bali Spa Retreat, I did some research with travel agents regarding what kind of airfare we could expect. I contacted 3 travel companies, all who discouraged me from traveling there then as it is High Season (despite it also being the rainy season). I was told that I wouldn’t find any fares for under $1,700, and we’d have to book months ahead. One of them is even an expert in Bali travel!

Undeterred, I searched on Twitter and found The Trip Chicks. Ann Lombardi and Wendy Swartell are an awesome duo! I contacted Ann and told her the dates we were looking to travel. She approached my travel request with complete aplomb and I knew we were in good hands.

The flight that Ann secured for us is nothing but miraculous! It is SEVERAL hundreds of dollars less than what we were told by others, plus we didn’t book them until November!

Pure magic.

I flew to Atlanta, rented a car, and proceeded to drive to a previously chosen location to meet Ann: Eisenberg’s Bagels.

I have had many teachers over the years and am grateful to them for helping inspire the InfiniteWishes Aladdin’s Lamp necklace. I have worked with Aleta St. James and James Arthur Ray, and am inspired by Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Abraham Hicks, Don Miguel Ruiz, Joseph Murphy and Napoleon Hill. I live my life seeking inspiration and live in the belief of the power of our dreams.

The necklace was just the beginning, as EXPANSION became my life’s passion. My greatest desire is to assist other women in discovering their own dreams and helping them to let go of their limiting beliefs—because what is ahead is AWESOME!

Mary Henry

Mary has been studying and working within the Human Potential Movement for the past three decades. From a spiritual perspective, she always believed there was more. I’m so excited!

When I first conceived of the Aladdin’s Lamp necklace, I wanted to combine the symbol of abundance and the Law of Attraction with the Spiritual world, hence I added the Garnet, which represents the 1st Chakra. The Root Chakra grounds spirit forces in our body—we are kept grounded, stable, solid and successful.

Well, I just ordered the semi-precious stones from Bali which represent all the chakras!

Take a look at the chart to see what all the other chakras represent. You will soon have a choice of other Charkra stones. Yay.

My intention is to create a symbol of love, abundance, joy, and fulfillment and our own personal magic and yes, of course, a fashion statement as well!

It's hard to know what to say when people ask about the Bali trip

The trip was about experiencing the gentleness of the Balinese people, about the smiles and the smells of jasmine and the offerings everywhere. It was about the kind, gentle, polite people, who all have a sense of fun, about the beauty of land and the stone carvings of Ganeshe everywhere, the Hindu God (the remover of obstacles), it’s about the dance and music performances and the colors and the smells and the exceptional meals and the faces of the school children as they are dropped off to school, of the roosters crowing and the constant barrage of amazing sights and sounds. It’s about doing meditations while you hear those roosters, and learning what we all want to focus on for our lives and what limiting beliefs we want to let go of. It’s about getting amazing spa treatments—2 hour massages, in the bales, surrounded by the jungle and telling yourself that you deserve all of this.

It’s about getting on a plane for a day and entering a new world and being open to new adventures and what ever life has to offer once we open ourselves up for what is possible.

How can I possibly explain all of this?

I had an interesting encounter yesterday. I was waiting in line at the bank and a banker approached the person at the end of the line and offered to help them, and off they went. The rest of the line almost had a revolt, “why did that person get help, that’s not fair!” When I got to the front of the line, I offered the most offended person to go ahead of me. Not only did she refuse me, but she continued to rant and rave and got more people in line to agree with her position.

I find it interesting that we can be so involved with our anger and fear that can be so closed off from the sweetness of life.

How does this relate to Bali and the InfiniteWishes trip there? Well, here’s a picture of Mary Henry and myself in utter and complete joy. We basically remained in the space for our entire 2 weeks there, starting from the moment Made picked us up at the airport.

But it wasn’t always that way. Leading up to the trip, both Mary and I had our own profound and personal transformations. As we marketed the trip, we both quietly experienced our own fear about traveling half-way across the world, wondering if people would sign-up, or basically worrying about the unkown and whatever that would mean.

Then, someone signed up. Only then did it occurr to me that I had to make the leap that I was asking others to make!

This trip we were offering was all about teaching going beyond our Limiting Beliefs and manifesting our dreams and I, of all people, became fearful???

Well, thanks to Jennifer Wilkov, the Make it Happen Girl, www.jenniferwilkov.com, who generously spoke to me and texted me for over a period of 24 hours, I got back on track, faced my fears, packed, got on the plane to Narita, Japan, then onto Denpasar, Bali and proceeded to have the best and most meaningful experiences of my life.

I call it Bali Joy.

From the magic of Aladdin's Lamp to the Magic of Bali

It was a natural progression.

First, creating the InfiniteWishes Aladdin’s Lamp Necklace in Bali by a local artisan (named Made, more about him later) to help us remember that we all have personal genies inside of us waiting to grant all of our wishes.

Then, Bali.

Mary Henry and I lead InfiniteWishes Vision Board Workshops in NYC and our dream was to actually run workshops in Bali. With pure intention, passion, and help from my friend Randall Hayward of the Taksu Spa in Ubud (more about him later, too!), we created the first InfiniteWishes Vision Workshop and Spa Retreat in June ‘09.

With the help of Karineh Gurjian-Angelo’s amazing photographs, we will attempt to capture a fraction of the magic and joy we experienced in this amazingly special place.

I am filled with gratitude for having had this experience and look forward to sharing our stories with you.

Ha! So, I had to ask myself today what vibration I was sending out when two people in the past two days have not followed through on stuff. First one was a friend who was supposed to email me about plans today and the other was my business mentor who—for the second week in a row—-forgot to show for our breakfast.

I was starting to feel sorry for myself and get all disappointed. THEN I realized I was offering a vibration of feeling unimportant and of the kind of person people overlook (which so ain’t true!). I turned that puppy around, ate breakast by myself, came into work early and got busy.

My friend called first thing to say his internet was down last night so he couldn’t write (and it was too late to call) and my biz mentor/friend called shortly thereafter aplogizing profusely for forgetting again.

Ha! Is there more to Mercury in Retrograde than I care to admit. (LOL). Rather, I think I had a great opportunity this morning to clean up any messy/old vibrations and live in the outcome!

I just received this from Katy Charlson—Katy lives in the Pacific Northwest and she and her partner, Brenda, both have the InfiniteWishes Aladdin’s Lamp necklace. I woke up today to this email:

I have to tell you…..That necklace is something else! I didn’t wear it for a long time (I honestly don’t know why—-could be laziness, could be Im not usually a necklace wearer, who knows, fact is, I haven’t worn it in a while)

Then I put it on one day and I was almost overwhelmed with all the things that manifested for me! In fact, I think that’s why I tend to ‘forget’ to wear it at times, I feel that I’m not ready for all that is coming. A LOT of things came my way when I wore it. I’m almost shaking my head now that I think about it and wonder why the hell i’m not wearing it even more if I’m wanting more things to come my way. Sometimes it takes me a while to learn things. Silly me.

Well Katy, we’re only ready when we’re ready. This is from a quote from Marianne Williamson that someone sent me this morning.

I am so excited now that the press release has been carefully crafted (thank you Patti Palmer), and the word is about to get out about the InfiniteWishes Workshop and Bali Spa Retreat! It’s unlike any other! After all the research, the preparation, the inspiration, it is finally born.

I spoke to Randall in Bali 2 nights ago (love Skype) and its always wonderful to hear his voice. He is so calm and relaxed and is such a pro at what he does. What does he do? He put this wonderful package together for us, with all the extras. Just speaking to him, you can almost feel the tropical breezes, take in all the beautiful flowers, catch the scent of jasmine. Can’t wait…

So, we are now Bali Bound!
